Creating a Diverse and Inclusive Working Environment

Practice Plus Group proudly took home the Bronze award at this year’s UK National Contact Centre Awards. We’re joined by Maliha, who will be sharing the inspiring steps the organisation has taken to build a truly diverse and inclusive workplace.

From introducing Headspace to champion employee wellbeing, to launching their Pathways training programme designed to support colleagues with disabilities or neurodivergent conditions, Practice Plus Group is making meaningful strides. They’re also fostering a culture of belonging through the recognition and support of employee network groups, proving that inclusion is more than a policy; it’s a practice.

Reflecting

In smaller groups, take this opportunity to reflect on the insights shared by Practice Plus and what you can take back to your own organisations:

Discussion prompts for the groups:

  • What stood out most to you about the Practice Plus approach?
  • Were there any ideas that you felt could be particularly relevant to your organisation?
  • What challenges might you face putting these in place? Can the group help you think of ways to remove these blockers?
  • Are there any gaps in your organisation’s approach to DEIB that you would support from this SIG to help you with
